Honestly one of the more underrated spots in Colorado Springs — the mountain views from here are legit, and the sandstone rocks scattered around give kids something way more interesting to climb than your typical plastic structure. It’s a quiet neighborhood park, so you’re not fighting crowds, and the shade trees actually do their job on hot afternoons. Bring a lunch because the picnic tables are clean and well-kept, which isn’t always a given. The open grass field is big enough for dogs to run around while the little ones hit the climbing structure, and the walking path makes it easy to stretch your legs after. Good for toddlers through early school age, and the restrooms work — small detail, but you know it matters.
