Banyan Tree

Honestly, this old banyan is one of those spots that stops you in your tracks the first time you see it — the aerial roots drop down and spread out in every direction like the tree is slowly taking over the whole block. It’s been a Naples landmark forever, and locals know it’s one of the better photography spots in the area, especially in the late afternoon light. Not a playground in the traditional sense, but kids and adults alike end up wandering through the root systems like it’s some kind of natural maze. If you’re passing through downtown Naples, it’s worth a detour just to stand under it for a few minutes.
