CARD Wildwood Park

Locals know Wildwood is one of the better-kept parks in Chico — the facilities are actually maintained, which isn’t something you can say about every CARD property. Kids have a sandbox to dig around in, and there’s enough open grass that older ones can run off some energy without anyone getting in each other’s way. The bike track is a solid bonus if you’ve got little riders still figuring things out. Bring the whole crew — the shaded picnic tables and BBQ area make it genuinely easy to set up for a birthday or a casual weekend cookout. Parking is straightforward, restrooms are on-site, and the walking path gives adults something to do while the kids do their thing.
