Stewart Park Playground

Right in the heart of one of Middlesbrough’s most popular green spaces, this playground gets a solid amount of use and honestly holds up well for it. You’ve got slides, swings, and a climbing structure that covers most age groups without feeling too babyish for older kids. The shade trees are a proper bonus in summer, and there are enough benches that you can actually sit down rather than hovering awkwardly. The open grass field alongside it means kids don’t have to stay glued to the equipment — there’s room to just run. Keep an eye out for the wildlife in the wider park too; it’s one of those places where a trip to the playground can turn into a full afternoon out.
