Salem’s Cole Park is one of those spots that actually lives up to the hype — the farm-themed playground is newer, well-maintained, and has enough going on that kids of pretty much any age find something to do. The zipline alone is a crowd-pleaser, but the splash pad is what really draws people out in summer. There’s solid shade, clean restrooms, and picnic tables, so you’re not just surviving the visit — you’re actually comfortable. A soccer field and walking path round things out if the adults need to burn off some energy too.
