Glade Valley Corn Maze

If you’re anywhere near Frederick and haven’t made it out to Glade Valley yet, you’re missing one of the better fall day trips in the area. The corn maze is the main draw — it’s actually challenging enough to keep older kids and teens engaged, not just a quick walk-through for little ones. There’s a solid playground with slides and swings for the younger crowd, plus a basketball court if your kids need to burn off energy between activities. Parents can keep an eye on everything easily, and there are benches scattered around so you’re not standing the whole time. Honestly good value for what you get, and the kind of place you end up wanting to come back to every season.
