Round Hill Playground

If you haven’t taken the kids to Round Hill yet, you’re genuinely missing out on one of Shrewsbury’s better-kept secrets. There’s a solid play area with slides, swings, and climbing frames, plus a splash park that gets absolutely packed on warm days — for good reason. The free farm is what really sets it apart though; pigs, chickens, cows, and the kids can see them all without spending a penny. Chuck in a duck pond, picnic pavilions, and decent walking trails, and you’ve got enough to fill a full afternoon without anyone complaining they’re bored.
