Rotary Play Park

If you spend any time in Liberty Park, you already know this spot. The splash pad keeps kids busy for way longer than you’d expect, and the musical equipment is genuinely one of those things that gets both toddlers and older kids going at the same time. Shade trees are spread out enough that you can actually find a decent picnic table without hovering and waiting for someone to leave. There’s a solid open grass field if you need room to just run, and the restrooms are consistently well-kept — which, honestly, matters more than people admit. Close enough to the park trails that you can make a full afternoon of it.
