The equipment here is actually pretty new, which makes a difference when you’re a parent watching your kid climb around — no splintered wood or wobbly rails to stress about. It’s a solid neighborhood park, nothing over-the-top, but the size feels right for an afternoon outing without driving across town. Dublin has no shortage of parks, but Shannon Glen holds its own for the families who live nearby. Afternoons tend to be the sweet spot here, good light and usually a few other kids around.
