Locals with kids know this quiet neighborhood spot punches above its weight — there’s actually enough going on to keep a 4-year-old and a 12-year-old both occupied at the same time, which isn’t as common as you’d think. The climbing structure and slides are solid, and the separate areas for littler kids versus older ones means you’re not constantly hovering. Shade trees do real work here on hot afternoons, and there are enough benches and picnic tables to actually sit down like a human being. The basketball court and bike track make it worth the trip even when the younger ones outgrow the play structure. Just plan ahead — no restrooms on site.
