If you live in Berwyn and haven’t made Proksa Park your regular spot yet, you’re missing out. The pond draws all kinds of wildlife — ducks, turtles, the occasional heron — and kids get genuinely obsessed with spotting them on the walking path that loops around the water. There’s a water feature to cool off, plenty of shade trees so you’re not baking on a bench all afternoon, and enough open grass that little ones can just run. Pack a lunch, grab a picnic table, and honestly you might end up staying longer than planned.
