If you live in Berwyn and have kids under 10, you already know Freedom Park. The water slides and wading pool are the big draw in summer — little ones can splash around without parents stressing, since it’s set up with younger kids in mind. The artificial turf soccer field gets a lot of use on weekends, and the fence around it actually makes a difference when you’ve got a runner. Grab one of the picnic tables after a game, do a lap or two on the walking path, and honestly you’ve got a solid few hours handled.
