The play train is honestly the highlight here — kids go absolutely feral for it, and it keeps them busy long enough for the adults to actually enjoy a proper BBQ. There’s a solid mix of equipment covering slides, climbing, swings, and tunnels, so it works well for a range of ages from toddlers right up to around ten. The shade trees do a decent job of keeping things comfortable on hot Canberra days, which matters more than people realise when you’ve got little ones who refuse to leave. It’s a proper community park setup — picnic tables, BBQ facilities, parking close by — the kind of place you can make a full afternoon of without having to pack everything including the kitchen sink.
