Playground

Solid little playground in Griffith that does the basics well — a metal slide with a pole ladder and a two-seat swing set that kids actually want to use. There’s a bench facing the play area so you can keep an eye on things without hovering, and the shade trees (still on the younger side) are starting to do their job. The open grass field gives kids room to kick a ball around or just run off some energy. Only real gripe from locals is that one bench isn’t quite enough — a few more seats and this spot would be even harder to leave.
