McLeod Playground

Kambah’s a pretty underrated suburb for parks, and McLeod Playground is a solid little spot if you’re in the area. The play structure has a good mix of features — a shop window and door for the imaginative kids, a steering wheel, stairs, and a metal slide that actually gets some speed up. The shade trees do a decent job of keeping things cool, which you’ll appreciate on a hot Canberra afternoon. There’s a bench seat positioned right in front of the equipment, so you can actually keep an eye on the kids without hovering.
