Locals in Lawson know this one as a solid neighbourhood spot that doesn’t get too hectic — ideal if you want the kids to actually run around without fighting over equipment. The spider net swing is the clear drawcard, and it tends to keep older kids busy long enough for parents to actually sit down for a bit. There’s a metal slide built into the slope which is a nice touch, plus a seesaw and climbing structure rounding things out for the younger ones. Shade trees and benches mean you’re not just standing around in the sun waiting for it all to wrap up.
