Michael Upton Playground

It’s a pretty small setup at the end of Pillar Place, but for toddlers and preschoolers it hits the mark. The main structure has a decent mix of things to keep little ones busy — climbing circles, a steering wheel, telescope, shop window and door, and a metal slide — plus a koala spring toy that the younger kids always seem to love. Nothing flashy, but it’s in reasonably good nick and does the job for a quick outing with under-fives. Word is upgrades are coming, so it’s worth keeping an eye on.
