Locals know this one’s a bit of a hidden gem in MacGregor — the gumnut and echidna sculptures give it a personality you don’t see at every cookie-cutter park. Kids can bounce between the climbing structures, rope walls, and sliding poles while you grab a bench under the shade trees and actually relax for five minutes. Ginninderra Creek runs alongside, which adds a nice backdrop and keeps the whole spot feeling less suburban. There’s a dirt bike track nearby too, so if you’ve got older kids with bikes they’ll have plenty to do beyond the main play area. Good picnic setup, works well for toddlers through to primary age.
