Kareelah Vista Playground

O’Malley doesn’t get nearly enough credit for this one. Kareelah Vista got a solid refurb and now it’s genuinely one of the better setups for mixed-age kids in the area — the zipline and tire swing get heavy rotation, and the tunnels give the younger ones somewhere to disappear and feel like explorers. Mature trees do a lot of the heavy lifting here, keeping things shaded even on days when you’d normally be hunting for cover. It’s a quiet street location, so you’re not dealing with traffic noise or chaos, and there’s decent parking plus benches if you’re settling in for a while. Good visibility throughout means you can actually sit down without constantly craning your neck.
