Regatta Point Playground

Right on the edge of Lake Burley Griffin, this one’s got one of the better outlooks of any playground in the ACT — you’re looking straight across the water while the kids do their thing. It’s properly accessible too, which isn’t something you can say about every spot around Parkes. The urban setting means it’s easy to get to and pairs well with a walk along the foreshore before or after. Locals know it as a solid pick when you want somewhere that feels a bit more considered than your average suburban setup.
