Quietly tucked into a residential street in Phillip, this one’s a no-frills local spot that does the classics well. The tire swing is the real drawcard — kids gravitate to it immediately, and it holds up to a decent amount of roughhousing. There’s a slide and monkey bars rounding out the structure, nothing fancy but solid enough to keep younger kids entertained for a decent stretch. A few shade trees take the edge off on hot Canberra afternoons, which matters more than people think when you’re waiting around with little ones.
