Wildbark at Mulligans Flat

If you haven’t made the trip out to Throsby yet, this one’s worth it. The play area sits right on the edge of the Mulligans Flat Woodland Sanctuary, so the bush isn’t just a backdrop — it’s basically part of the experience. Kids can scramble through tunnels and tackle the climbing structure while you actually feel like you’re in nature rather than some concrete carpark. The enclosed setup means younger ones aren’t going anywhere, and the visitor centre with live animals plus an on-site café means you can easily stretch this into a proper half-day out. Locals know to combine it with a walk on the trails — the whole place just makes more sense when you do.
