Right next to the Armidale Bicentennial Arboretum, this one’s got that perfect mix of bush feel without actually being in the middle of nowhere. Kids aged 2 to 12 get plenty to work with — slides, swings, and a solid climbing structure that keeps them busy long enough for parents to actually breathe. The open grass field is great for a kick around or just letting toddlers do their chaotic thing, and the walking path makes it easy to extend the outing into the arboretum trails if you’ve got the energy. Sightlines are good too, so you’re not constantly craning your neck trying to spot your kid.
