Edwards Park Playground

Honestly, the Lake Macquarie views from here are hard to beat — you’re right on the waterfront and it genuinely never gets old. The playground itself is newer and well looked after, which makes a difference when you’re a local who visits regularly. Parents are well catered for with shaded seating and benches that actually face the equipment, so you’re not craning your neck to keep tabs on the kids. The walking path and open grass field mean there’s plenty of room to burn off energy beyond just the play equipment.
