Diggers Beach Playground

If you’re heading out to Macauleys Headland for a walk, this is a solid spot to make a proper half-day of it. The playground sits right near Diggers Beach, so the kids can bounce between playing and the sand without much effort at all. The headland trail is genuinely one of the better coastal walks around Coffs — good views, a bit of forest cover, not too brutal. It’s the kind of place locals tend to keep in their back pocket for weekends when you want to be outside but don’t want to overthink it.
