Public Playground

Right on the esplanade with views straight out over Coffs Harbour, this one’s hard to beat for a casual family afternoon. The kids get swings, slides, a seesaw, climbing structure, and a merry-go-round — enough to keep them occupied while you actually sit down for five minutes on one of the benches. Shade trees take the edge off on hot days, and parents can keep an eye on everything without having to constantly follow kids around. The open grass field and walking path mean older kids can burn off extra energy beyond the playground itself. Good spot for the 2–12 age bracket, and the waterfront setting makes it feel like more of an outing than just a trip to the park.
