St Thomas Rest Park Playground

Right in the middle of Crows Nest, this little fenced playground is basically a toddler sweet spot — the kind of place you end up at three times a week without planning to. The play train is a genuine hit with the under-threes, and the parent/child swing makes life a lot easier when you’ve got a clingy one. Everything feels new and well-maintained, which isn’t always a given in local parks. The shade trees do solid work on a hot day, and being enclosed means you’re not constantly chasing someone toward the street.
