Low-key but genuinely useful, this one’s a favourite for parents with babies and toddlers who aren’t quite ready for the big stuff. The equipment sits nice and low to the ground, so little ones can actually use it without you hovering two centimetres away the whole time. What makes it work is the layout — the picnic tables are positioned so you can actually keep an eye on the kids while you sit down, which sounds obvious but a lot of parks get this completely wrong. Good option if you’re in Croydon and need somewhere relaxed for the under-twos crowd.
