Sedgwick Reserve

Currans Hill locals know this one well, and for good reason — Sedgwick Reserve is the kind of park you end up at on a whim and stay longer than planned. The climbing structure keeps the older kids busy while the slides and swings sort out the toddlers, and the whole setup is open enough that you can actually keep an eye on everyone from the picnic tables. Shade trees do a decent job of making a summer afternoon bearable, and there are benches if the picnic tables are taken. The open grass field gets a solid workout on weekends, and the walking path is a nice loop if you’re after a bit of movement between snack breaks.
