If you’re local to Drummoyne, you probably already know Brett Park is one of the better spots along the Bay Run to actually stop and let the kids loose for a bit. The shade cover is solid, the surface is soft underfoot, and there’s a baby swing — so yeah, it works well for toddlers especially. Pack some food because the self-service BBQ and benches make it genuinely easy to stretch a visit into a proper afternoon out. Dogs are welcome in the surrounding park, and the open grass gives everyone room to spread out. It’s well-kept, quiet, and close enough to the water that you get the breeze without the chaos of a beach crowd.
