Honestly, the original description doesn’t give us much to work with here — and neither does the park listing itself. East Ballina locals know Shearwater Park as a low-key community green rather than a destination playground, so it’s worth calling ahead or checking council updates before making a special trip. If you’re already in the area exploring the creek foreshore or passing through from the Pacific Highway, it makes a decent enough stop to stretch the legs. Worth confirming current facilities with Ballina Shire Council, as the setup may have changed recently.
