Good spot for families in East Maitland, especially if you’ve got kids anywhere between toddler age and primary school. The setup is pretty straightforward — slides, swings, a climbing structure, and a sandbox — but that’s honestly all most kids need to keep themselves occupied for a solid hour or two. The open grass field gives older kids room to kick a ball around while littler ones dig in the sand, and the walking path is handy if you want to stretch your legs without going too far. It’s the kind of local park you end up returning to on weekends just because it works.
