If you’re in East Tamworth with little ones in tow, this place is hard to beat. The playground punches well above its weight for a free park — there’s a zipline, tire swing, climbing structure, and slides that keep the 2-to-6 crowd genuinely occupied. Shade trees and covered seating mean parents aren’t baking while they watch, and the visibility is good so you’re not constantly chasing kids around blind corners. Chuck some snags on the BBQ, grab a picnic table, and you’ve got a proper afternoon sorted. The bushland setting right on the edge of the trails gives it a bit of a wild feel, especially when the local wildlife decides to make an appearance.
