Bunya Park Playground

Locals with littlies know this one well — the climbing structure and slides are solid, modern gear that actually holds up, and the shade trees mean you’re not melting while you watch the kids burn off energy. There’s a community garden nearby that gives the whole place a bit of a neighbourhood feel, and the bike track is great if yours are at that wobbling-around-on-two-wheels stage. Chuck some snags on the BBQ, grab a bench in the shaded seating area, and you’ve basically got a full afternoon sorted. The lake adds a nice backdrop, and parking is easy enough that it doesn’t become a whole thing.
