Brick Pit Reserve & Playground

If you’re local to Frenchs Forest, you probably already know about this one — and if you don’t, fix that. The bike and scooter track is a proper hit with younger kids still figuring out their wheels, and there’s enough space that parents can actually relax a bit while they loop around. Pack a lunch because the picnic tables make it easy to settle in for a few hours, and yes, there are toilets on site which honestly makes or breaks a family outing. What I like is that the reserve has some real history behind it — the heritage displays about the old brick pit give it a sense of place you don’t get at your average suburban playground.
