Nepean Park Kids playground

Right on the banks of the Nepean River in Jamisontown, this one’s a solid pick for a half-day out with the kids. There’s a good mix of slides, swings, a climbing structure, and a sandbox to keep the 2-to-12 crowd busy, and the shade trees actually do their job on hot days. Parents get a decent view of the whole setup from the benches and picnic tables, which makes it easy to relax without constantly hovering. The open grass field and walking path mean you can stretch the visit out well past playground time. Parking is right there too, so you’re not doing a 10-minute trek with a stroller and a bag full of snacks.
