Tucked right up against the bushland in Killara, this playground genuinely feels like you’re playing in the forest — the shade trees are massive and keep things cool even on a hot day. Kids aged 2 to 12 have plenty to keep them busy between the climbing structure, slides, swings, and a sandbox that the little ones absolutely demolish. The enclosed area means you can actually sit down at one of the picnic tables without constantly scanning the perimeter, which locals with toddlers will appreciate. There’s open grass nearby for kids who need to burn off extra energy, and the trails along the forest edge make it easy to extend the afternoon if everyone’s still keen.
