Moorefield Reserve Playground

Moorefield Reserve is one of those no-fuss local spots that gets the job done for littlies — swings and a slippery dip, nothing fancy, but the kids don’t seem to care. The open grass field is genuinely useful for a run-around, and the walking path means you can do a lap while keeping an eye on things. There’s a drinking fountain on site which, honestly, you’ll be grateful for on a warm Sydney afternoon. Dogs are a common sight here too, so worth knowing if you’ve got little ones who are still figuring out the whole “not every dog wants a pat” lesson. Good spot for the 2-to-5 crowd in the Kogarah area.
