Saywell Street Park

Right next to Lake Pillans Wetlands, this little park has a genuinely nice spot going for it — the kind of place where you can let the kids stretch their legs while you actually enjoy the surroundings for a bit. The wetlands backdrop makes it feel more peaceful than your average suburban park, and it’s worth a wander down to the water’s edge while you’re there. Wheelchair accessible too, which isn’t always a given in Lithgow’s older parks.
