Maroubra Beach Playground

Right on the sand at Maroubra, this fenced little playground is genuinely one of the easier spots to manage with younger kids — they can climb around while you actually relax. The soft flooring is a nice touch, and being fully enclosed means you’re not constantly chasing anyone toward the water. There’s parking right nearby, which matters more than people admit, plus BBQ facilities if you want to make a proper afternoon of it. The skate park next door keeps older siblings entertained, so it works well for mixed-age families too.
