Victoria Park

If you’re after a proper open park without too much fuss, this one delivers. The grass field is generous enough for a real kick-around, and the soccer field gets decent use on weekends from what I’ve seen. Pack a lunch because the picnic tables are actually well-placed — not crammed into a corner like some parks. The walking path is a nice touch if you want to stretch your legs without dealing with traffic. Parking’s right there too, which makes a difference when you’ve got kids and a bag full of gear.
