One of the better spots in Paddington for the under-5 crowd — it’s fully fenced, which makes a huge difference when you’ve got a bolter on your hands. The climbing structure, slides, and swings are all in good nick since the renovations, and the shade trees actually do their job on a hot afternoon. There are picnic tables and benches if you want to sit and eat something without balancing a lunchbox on your lap, plus parking nearby which is never a given around here. The open grass area out the back gives kids room to burn off whatever energy they’ve got left after the equipment.
