Sherwood Park

A solid neighbourhood park that does exactly what it needs to without any fuss. The big open grass field is great for kids to run around while adults grab a bench or picnic table under the shade trees — it gets warm in Port Macquarie, so that shade matters more than people think. There’s parking right there, a walking path to do a few laps, and the quiet street setting means it never really gets chaotic. Good accessible layout too, which you don’t always find in older suburban parks around here.
