Town Green Playground

Right in the thick of town, this waterfront green is one of those spots locals end up at without really planning to. There’s decent shade from the trees, plenty of benches and picnic tables, and enough open grass for kids to just run around while adults actually sit down for five minutes. The walking path makes it easy to extend your visit along the waterfront, and parking nearby means you’re not hauling everything from three streets away. It’s got a bit of an artistic touch to it too, which sets it apart from your standard suburban playground setup. Honestly, if you’re showing someone around Port Macquarie for the first time, you’d probably end up here anyway.
