Locals know to come here early on a hot day — the water feature gets absolutely mobbed by midday in summer, and honestly, fair enough. The long slides are a genuine highlight, the kind kids actually want to queue up for, and the sandbox keeps the younger ones busy while bigger kids scramble around the climbing structure. There’s decent shade over the seating areas, BBQs if you want to make a proper afternoon of it, and parking that’s usually manageable if you’re not rolling in at peak hours. It caters well to the 2–12 range without feeling like it’s trying too hard in any one direction. Worth noting that there have been some renovations through, so it’s holding up better than a lot of comparable spots in the area.
