Locals from Ramsgate know Hawthorne Reserve is one of those spots you end up at more than you planned. It’s a solid community playground that works well for families, especially if you’re already heading to the Ramsgate Market or spending time around Scarborough Park nearby. The accessible design means kids of different abilities can actually get involved, which isn’t something you can take for granted at every reserve in the area. Easy to make a decent half-day of it without going far.
