Locals know this little reserve is best visited in the late afternoon when the light does something genuinely special. It’s not a big destination — more of a place you wander to, do a lap of the walking path, and let the kids loose on the open grass for a bit. Riverwood doesn’t have a ton of green space, so having somewhere to just stretch out matters. Worth knowing it’s not wheelchair accessible, so keep that in mind depending on who you’re bringing along.
