Rockdale Park Playgound

Good solid neighbourhood playground that does exactly what it needs to — swings, slides, and a seesaw for the 2 to 10 crowd without overcomplicating things. It sits inside Rockdale Park, so once the kids have burned through their energy on the equipment, there’s open grass to kick a ball around or just let them run. The walking path that loops through makes it easy to combine a play session with a decent stroll, and there’s enough tree cover nearby to give it a less concrete-jungle feel than you’d expect for an urban spot. Nothing flashy, but it’s well-kept and the equipment is age-appropriate — younger kids aren’t getting in over their heads here.
