Darrell Jackson Playground

Summer Hill locals know this one well — it’s a solid pick when you want a playground that actually keeps the kids busy for more than ten minutes. The fenced enclosure is a lifesaver if you’ve got toddlers who like to bolt, and the soft fall surface throughout means you’re not hovering quite as anxiously. There’s a good mix of features packed in here: slides, swings, tunnels, a climbing structure, and a zipline that tends to be the main event for older kids. When everyone’s done with the equipment, the open grass field gives them somewhere to burn off whatever energy is left.
