If you’re planning a family day out at Sydney Olympic Park, this is honestly one of the better spots to base yourself. The setup is solid for kids aged 3–9 — swings, a climbing structure, and a sandbox keep them busy while you actually get to sit down under a shade tree or grab a bench. BBQ facilities and picnic tables make it a proper half-day situation, not just a quick stop, and there’s enough open grass for a kick of the soccer ball or a full-on family frisbee war. The bike track is a nice bonus if the kids are into that, and parking plus nearby cafe access means you’re not scrambling. Restrooms on site seal the deal for anyone with little ones.
